About poetry

    Poetry is a form of literary word that is bound by rhythm,rhyme and composers of verses and lines whose language looks beautiful meaning. 

There are five genres of english of english poetry, and each an example drama, prose, nonfiction, fiction, and poetry.

And an examples of english poetry are :

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness,

starving hysterical naked,

dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking

for an angry fix,

angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly

connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night,

who poverty and tatters and hollow-eyed and high sat up smoking… 

In the twilight rain,

these brilliant-hued hibiscus –

A lovely sunset.

Genres of indonesian poetry and each an example :

   Based on the content or discussion in poetry, new poetry is divided into 7 types, namely ballads, hymns, ode, epigram, romance, elegance, and satire.

And an example of genres of indonesian poetry are : aku ingin (sapardi djoko darmono) and puisi (korrie layui rampan)

I want to love you modestly

Through unspoken words the woods to the fire

that make it ashes

Through unspoken sign the clouds to the rain

that makes it invisible.

And This road is dusty, my darling

Spread in the field of feeling

Sixteen suns shooting from sixteen horizons

The day is fierce along culmination

The laugh of the night follows the lumbered step

Pitter-patter of white moon

In the love park

My bride,

Between gravel and red sand

Hidden the halting steps.
